Free meals for ALL students have expired. We will revert to free, reduced and full pay meal statuses for the upcoming school year.

If you feel you may qualify for free or reduced meals, please apply online starting July 15, 2022. Paper applications will be available during packet pick up (date to be determined).

Students who were eligible for either free or reduced-price meals at the end of the last school year will have that status carried over until Sept. 13, 2022, or until a new application is processed.

Please plan accordingly! Submit your applications ASAP!

Starting July 11, 2022, you may complete a bus application, submit payment and print your child's temporary bus passes online at https://hi.etrition.com/bus application.

Bus coupons must be purchased at the school office and cash payment must be received.

All paper bus applications received at the school office will be processed in mid-July. Paper applications may be printed from our school website using the short-cut link on the main webpage.

Permanent bus passes will be sent to the school 7 to 10 days after your application has been processed.

Hilo Viking Robotics (HVR) is hosting a summer community outreach program known as Camp Eureka. It's a five-day camp designed to introduce students, age 7-12, to STEM concepts through themed challenges. The camp also aims to teach students teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Throughout the camp, students will have the opportunity to design, build, and program VEX IQ robots. All proceeds go directly into supporting HVR, as well as other community outreach events such as Onizuka Day and Astro Day.

The Department of Education is offering a Summer Math Camp for students in grades 1, 2, and 3 at no cost to families. Here is a flier with information and a registration link if you are interested. Registration will begin on May 18, 2022 at 12:00 pm and the deadline to register is 12:00 pm, May 25, 2022.

Starting MAY 3, applications will be available on our school website as well as at the school office. Please be sure to complete one application per child. Applications may be submitted starting May 3!
